assessment and disease diagnosis and prevention.
MedLab Pathology is fully committed to providing the highest
quality diagnostic and consultative pathology service to all users
in a timely and cost effective manner. Our goal is to provide
custom laboratory services while ensuring quality, consistency and
full regulatory compliance through one quality standard and set of
operating procedures.
The Quality Assurance & Operations management is committed to
the maintenance of the Quality Management System so that the
requirements of ISO 15189 are met on an ongoing basis, and that the
effectiveness of the systems in place is monitored and necessary
improvements are identified and implemented. The MLP QA department
is an independent function reporting directly to the company
CEO.
In addition to a comprehensive internal audit schedule to ensure
our adherence to one quality standard is achieved, MLP's critical
suppliers are also audited to ensure that these companies meet
MLP's standards and those of the applicable regulatory
authorities.
All MLP scientists participate in external quality assessment
schemes (including the College of American Pathologists) and we
have an established internal quality control programme in place for
all examination procedures carried out in the laboratory.
